Our Vinyl Conversion Service is done using sophisticated up-to-date technology that allows us to transfer the treasured Vinyl Records you own into modern 21st century digital format.

OX-IT can transfer your old vinyl records onto a cd or into mp3 format
Whether you want to listen to the record once more (onto CD) or you would like all your old music backed-up onto a new digital format (perhaps onto an external hard drive).
The Conversion Process
The first element of the process that OX IT does to ensure the maximum quality when converting the Vinyl is to give it a gentle clean using an Anti-Static Carbon Fibre cleaning brush. This ensures that when the record is in the process of being converted into Mp3 there is no dust or dirt on the record. Next using a Turntable and a piece of smart software we convert your Audio straight into iTunes library. From here we are able to finish the process.
How Long Does It Take?
Recording and Converting Vinyls & LP's into MP3's is done in "Real-Time" This means it can be a very lengthy process depending on how many Vinyls we are converting. For more information on this please get in touch.
How would you like to receive your Files?
We can provide your newly transfered files in 3 different ways:
Collection & Delivery
We can travel to Anywhere in Oxfordshire, personally pick up your Vinyls or LP's, bring them back to the Office for the conversion process and then once it is all done, return the Vinyls along with the converted MP3's back to you in the same condition as they were picked up in.
Collection & Delivery of your Vinyl Records in the Oxfordshire area is completely FREE for orders over 5 or more. Collection & Delivery for any conversion orders under 5 will be £10.
For orders sent to us Nationally we will return the MP3's along with your Cassettes via Royal Mail recorded delivery.
The Quality of the Vinyl
It is very important to stress that how the Vinyl Record or LP sounds on a Turntable is how it will sound when converted to MP3. We cannot improve the quality of the Audio when converting the format to MP3, only convert the Vinyl or LP into a digital format.
