Setting Up Your Machine
When setting up a PC or a Laptop for first time use, fresh out of the box, it can seem a little daunting particularly when you are trying to work out where all the cables go and generally assembling the different devices. Making it all work in sync can be a little confusing at times, different softwares work with different machines and different machines work in different ways. It can however be somewhat straightforward but only if you know how.
Here are a few things to think about which we feel are some of the most essential.
Product Knowledge
How much do you really know about the machine you are buying?
Have you done your research into the brand and what the brand tends to provide in the way of quality?
Does the brand offer any readily available support?
Software "Drives" Hardware
The physical devices you hold in your hand, the machines you are able to touch, see and hear are devices more commonly known in the IT world as "Hardware". Hardware however needs instructions in order to work properly and those instructions are handed out by something called "Software". Software is made by extremely talented Computer Programmers.
We feel that Software can sometimes be undermined by Hardware. The emphasis is sometimes more on what a product looks like and what bran name it has, as opposed to what it can do and how well it works. This is majorly determined by what software is operating the product.
